Organising Windows Taskbar

Most people tend to have a lot of shortcuts on their Windows taskbar. This is partly due to many applications that add shortcuts to taskbar by default during their installation process. The result is the list of shortcuts keeps growing and the space for running task buttons keeps shrinking. Sure, you can group similar tasks into one button. But collapsible taskbar button makes switch to an application one more point-and-click way. We prefer to have an quick overview of all the running applications in one glance.
We prefer to organize my taskbar this way:
*Resize that taskbar so that it can accomodate 2 rows.
*Move shortcuts to the top row so that they have ample space to grow.
*Move running application buttons to bottom row. This way, you can run up to 10 applications and still able to spot their names comfortably on the buttons.
